Supply and Install a New Fujitsu Ducted Air Conditioner System
The Project
This residential client had been running a Daikin split system wall-mounted aircon system at their home for years. They wanted to decommission this system and replace the heating and cooling in their home with a ducted air conditioner.
After visiting the property we suggested a Fujitsu ducted air conditioner with ceiling vents that would be powered by an outdoor unit. The client agreed. We also suggested an electrical circuit breaker for safety reasons.

The Solution
We removed the wall-mounted split system and repaired the marks that had been left over the years. We also removed the outdoor AC unit.
We then mapped out how to deliver all the heating and cooling air to all the rooms throughout the home. This determines the best position for the outdoor unit and where to put the indoor ceiling cassette that will deliver the air at its optimum. Once our plan was drawn up we set about completing the project.
Installing the new air conditioner
We found a suitable area on the outdoor brick wall and installed the outdoor aircon unit complete with electrical cabling into the property. Next, we strategically found a place in the ceiling for the indoor unit. Then we began to connect all the rooms with air conditioner ceiling vents.
Controlling the ducted system air conditioner
Smart air conditioning controllers that are compatible with leading air conditioning manufacturers are made by Airtouch. The Airtouch 5 series with four remote controllers was our choice. The Airtouch 5 features a digital display that is installed on the wall that allows the user to adjust the airflow temperature in each area. Additionally, you may operate the system via a smartphone app.
