Installing a New TECO Split System Air Conditioner

The Project

The residential client was located in Beresfield which is approximately 21 kilometres west of Newcastle in NSW and just 4 kilometres north of our Thornton outlet .

The client wanted a new split system air conditioner for their home’s living area.

The Solution

For this job, we selected a TECO TWS35H3DVJT Split System. This system would efficiently heat and cool the living area. This TECO model has a 3.5 kW and 4.5 kW heating capacity. The TECO unit has multiple features including –

Controlling the split system air conditioner

As expected the A/C controller comes with all the functions to remotely control the air conditioner. You can control the temperature and how the air is delivered to the room via the swing arm, which has 4 vertical and horizontal settings. You can choose the energy-efficient ECO mode which lowers the fan speed to the lowest possible level and modifies the outside frequency while the unit is in cooling mode. This option lowers operating expenses.

Installing the new air conditioner

The outdoor unit was placed onto a small rectangular concrete slab we provided. The wiring ran up the wall to where the indoor unit was to hang on the wall in the living room.

Electrical Wiring Beresfield

We have certified electricians at our business. To fully install the air conditioner our electrician was brought in to run the wiring up the side of the outside wall and into the living room wall where the indoor unit was hung. The wiring was housed in a protective cable cover. Finally, the electrician connected all the wires to the power board.
